Employee performance reviews can easily be completed, provided managers are given a template from which they can work off. It's important to define the competencies and skills the employees needs to have in order to tasks laid out for them. When managers are giving a review, a rating scale can accompany the review to collect quantitative data. This helps the HR department understand where the key strengths and weaknesses lie in each employee, team, and department. By understanding each teams overall ratings, an organisation can implement training programs for weak areas and promotes/hand out bonuses to those individuals that outperform the others.
